TMK will continue in AIADMK front
By Our Staff Reporter
TIRUNELVELI, JULY 28. The Tamizhaga Munnetra Kazhagam will remain
in the AIADMK-led front for the coming local bodies elections
too, Mr. B. John Pandian, its founder president, told
presspersons here on Friday.
The decision by the PMK to sever its ties with the AIADMK and
join the NDA was nothing but `political opportunism', he said.
Mr. Pandian called upon the Government to publish fresh electoral
rolls by removing all shortcomings noticed in the voter list used
during the last Assembly elections.
Mr. Pandian thanked the State Government for its decision to
provide cycles to Adi-Dravida girl students and pleaded for the
implementation of the same with immediate effect.
