Sivaji awards
BHARAT KALACHAR and Priya Vision held a show in honour of Sivaji Ganesan, on the occasion of the second death anniversary of the legend. Doyens of the film industry, directors A. C. Trilokchander, `Chitralaya' Gopu and Mukta Srinivasan, cinematographer Vincent, singers T. M. Soundararajan and P. Susheela, composer Pugazhendhi, actors S. S. Rajendran, Kaka Radhakrishnan and actresses Sachu and Lakshmi, Cho S. Ramaswamy and Panju Arunachalam were honoured with Sivaji awards of Excellence. It was also an evening of music, with songs from the films of Sivaji Ganesan were rendered by T. S. Raghavendar, Kalpana, Prasanna, Kovai Murali, Sairam, Srinivas, Urvasi and Vijay Yesudas. ARS and Y. Gee. Mahendra anchored the show.
