Radha Kalyanam
Madipakkam Sri Sath Sanga Harinama Sankeerthana Sabha (Ph: 2247 3330/2247 9716) is celebrating Sri Radha Kalyana Mahotsavam for the 32nd year at Sree Sath Sanga Sankara Hall from February 3-5. Kodandarama Swamigal of Marudhanallur Sathguru Swamigal Math will preside. Bhagavathars will render bhajans, ashtapathi bhajans and divyanama bhajans, followed by Anna Danam.
Sri Sarvamangala Bajana Mandali is celebrating Sri Radha Kalyana Mahotsavam for the 19th year at Sarvamangala Nagar, Nanganallur, on Feb. 5 at 8 a.m., which will be followed by Anna Danam. Bajans will be conducted on Feb.4 from 2 p.m.
Satsangam (Ph: 2472 8690) is conducting Radha Kalyanam on Sunday (February 5) at Gnanodaya Aalayam on Dr. Subbarayan Nagar Main Road, Kodambakkam. The preliminary rituals such as sampradaya bhajan and namasankirtanam will take place at 3 p.m. on February 4. Sri Raju Bhagavathar will perform the celestial wedding that starts at 8 a.m. on Sunday.
Dance presentation
Sri Parthasarathy Swami Sabha has been celebrating its 106th dance festival for 20 days and has arranged for a special solo dance production, "Godha" by Jothi Raghavan of the U.S. on the concluding day (February 7) at the Mylapore Fine Arts Club Hall at 6.30 p.m. Based on the Pasurams (verses by Periazhwar and Godha (Andal), this unique solo dance production offers a fresh look into the age-old story of Andal and how she longed to be wedded to Lord Narayana.
Anniversary celebrations
The twenty-first annual day of the consecration of Sri Karpaga Vinayakar Temple at Karpagam Gardens, Adyar, which is being celebrated from January 26, will be on till February 5. Tyagaraja aradhana will be celebrated on February 5 at 9 a.m. in which eminent musicians will render Pancharatna kritis.
Musical feature

Music competition
Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan is conducting a music competition on the compositions of Annamacharya and Purandara Dasa. Participants should be between 12 and 18 years of age. Lecture on Buddha
The C. P. Ramaswami Aiyar Foundation, Alwarpet, (Ph: 2434 1778) is organising a lecture on `Buddha the Most Sculpted Prophet,' by Jaya Subramaniam from Professor V. Subramaniam's works of `Glimpses of Buddhist Culture,' on Feb.4, 10.30 a.m. This will be accompanied by a dance demonstration by Sreelatha Vinod on `A Daughter (Sangamitra's) Influence.
Remembering M.S.
Lakshmi Shankar, Hindustani vocalist, will be rendering a devotional music concert in memory of M. S. Subbalakshmi and T. Sadasivam at the Tattvaloka auditorium, Eldams Road, on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
Funds needed
The Mahakumbabishekam of Kariamalazhahar Temple at Panthalkudi near Aruppukottai will be performed on February 10. Though the renovation work has been completed, the temple is in need of funds to perform Kumbabhishekam.
