Not just a cool scoop... .

If you love coffee-flavoured icecream, you are flirtatious. If you go in for strawberry you are logical, thoughtful. And if vanilla gets you going then you move by intuition. Enjoy all this as you pamper yourself to different shades of icecream with SUMITRA SENAPATY at Movenpick in South Delhi... .

MOVENPICK IS certainly an experience that will massage your taste-buds and ruin your diet. So why not make the pleasure-torture more exciting and go straight to its source? I do not hesitate to recommend this icecream boutique to those who enjoy being at the centre of Priya Complex in South Delhi, as they eat the goodies. Popular with filmgoers and visitors who have a sweet tooth, Movenpick is all about taking icecream to a higher level, with familiar flavours like chocolate chip, vanilla and maple walnut. Let the weather help you decide if a cone or cup is in order, you don't want to get messy, but what a yummy mess it would be! You'll feel like you've stepped into "It's a Wonderful Life'' at this trendy, new-world-fashion icecream and coffee parlour, where everything is truly extraordinary for a perfect rendezvous.

Movenpick serves a variety of fast food -- sandwiches, salads and baguettes, etc.-- but that's not the reason to go. Once you taste the icecream you'll realise there's no need to snack at all. Try pineapple or pistachio if you're feeling daring or a three-flavour split if you're beyond hungry -- pineapple, strawberry, caramel, whipped cream and seasonal fruit. Known as the Samba, this divine calorie-laden creation is priced at Rs 150. Portions are huge, so order conservatively.

Twenty-one delicious flavours will be introduced to help us through the long hot summer ahead. Check out the vanilla brownies -- chunks and crumbs of chocolate brownies blended with the vanilla bean icecream. Caramelita is another yummy option. If you like caramel, you will love this rich, sweet icecream. If you are one of these people who find sweet things a bit sickly, don't go for this, it may well prove too much for you. I loved the icecream, however, I was not entirely sure about the chewy sweety bits sprinkled all over the top. This is definitely the icecream to have if you are feeling shamelessly self-indulgent. There is a lot of caramel in it, and you will feel very spoilt. Tangy lemon lime, mountain fresh apricot and tiramisu are some of the new flavours. A single scoop is for Rs 40, a double for Rs 75 and triple for Rs 105. After tasting some of these scoops, I dream of buying a box of eternal icecream, that lasts and lasts -- I can eat and eat and eat -- it never runs out!

By the way, did you know that the ice-cream flavour you choose says a lot about your personality? As a chocolate chip lover, you are competitive and accomplished; no victory is sweet without a little hard work. As a coffee lover, you are lively, dramatic and flirtatious thriving on the passion of the moment. A love for strawberry reveals a thoughtful, logical person who carefully weighs each option before making decisions. Although you don't fall head-over-heels in love at first sight, once you commit to a relationship, you are loyal and supportive. There is nothing plain about vanilla. In fact, if you love vanilla, you are actually a colourful, dramatic risk taker who relies more on intuition than logic.

Prepare to get your cone "to go'' at this popular teen and family hangout. The best part about Movenpick icecream is that when you see it you want to eat it and when it is over you still want more of it! It takes an average of 50 licks to polish off a single scoop of icecream. Challenge your friends to a lick-a-thon and see who finishes first!
