As long as the momentous victory of India in the 1983 World Cup is remembered, P. R Man Singh's contribution, too, cannot be ignored. The administrative manager of the then cricket team, - Man Singh's diplomatic nature and clinical efficiency - helped in soothing the frayed tempers of many a reputed cricketer in the team that went a long way in India winning the World Cup for the first time.
