THIS SEEMS to be for those who want to give the classy designer look to their homes but shudder at the prices. Yamini, a shop specialising in home furnishings has announced a clearance sale from February 18 to 23. Bedspreads, throws, cushion covers, tablemats, towels, gloves, rugs and curtains are among the useful accessories to be found there. The fabrics used in these items range from denim to organdy, velvet to voile.

For those who like to do their own stitching, there is pure cotton fabric available by the metre. The sale prices are said to be slashed by up to 50 per cent. Cushion covers at Rs.50, cotton curtains for Rs.175 each and tablecloths ranging from Rs.60 to 400 are some of the promised goodies.
