Brimming with same ideas

WATER, WATER everywhere...We seem to be caught in a deluge. First there's Deepa Mehta planning to revive "Water". Then there's Prakash Jha shooting at a feverish pace for "Ganga-jal". Now Shekhar Kapur is planning to make a Hindi film after many years. The film, "Paani" is set in futuristic Mumbai (2060) and will depict a time when the city's most precious commodity would be water. It's Kapur's oldest and most cherished project. He has lived with it for nearly two decades. In all probability, Vivek Oberoi has been chosen to play the lead. A R. Rahman, who's coincidentally done the music for Mehta's "Water" has been signed to do the music for "Paani" too. "Ganga-jal" is being shot in Panchgani. Almost everyday a concerned Ajay Devgan sends rasberries and strawberries to Mumbai for his pregnant wife, Kajol.
