CHANGING PERSPECTIVE: Jagapati Babu

"THE NANDI award resurrected my career,'' says Jagapathi Babu. "The award came at a time when the industry had written me off as a star. I took a short reprieve as I was keen on doing some meaningful roles. This gap was treated as the end of my career, but the award gave me a new lease of life as an artiste,'' he adds. Jagapathi Babu got the best actor award for Manoharam. After this movie he gave three consecutive hits in Hanuman Junction, Sandade Sandadi and Sivaramaraju. His latest movie Kabaddi Kabaddi is also doing well at the box office.
