Preparing for summer


HERE COMES the brand Creative Line, so far a player in fine woollen wear, venturing into summer clothes.Organising a fashion show early this week,it launched its exclusive Summer Collection 2005 at Fabric Resto Bar on Mehrauli Gurgaon Road.

The collection unveiled the label's summer range for both men and women with an amalgam of casual and formal wear. Model Ramnik Patel, who for a change compared the show, gave her take: "It is for the first time that the brand has come up with men's collection. One can find lot of denim, party shirts, trousers, suits, etc for men." Already planning to buy something from the women's collection ,she added, "Creative Line has come up with lot of whites, blacks, blues and fusion of colours in its collection which is very elegant."

As for another model Jayshree Tahiliani, who walked the ramp wearing the summer line, the collection is wearable. "I have never seen Creative Line so creative. The collection is very much Italian which are really in and is trendy too. One can find lot of short skirts, sleeveless, printed kurtas, etc. which are very elegant," she commented.

While modelling world's hot property Aryan Baruah, also present at the ramp, said "I would like to buy few shirts, linen pants and T-shirts if I get the time and the best part of the collection is that it is very affordable for the people of every class."

On display at the show were the prêt lines in Indo-western and western styles, showcasing stylish informal wear for all classes. The collection starts from Rs.500 onwards.
